The School on 290 Edgewood Drive was erected in 1964 with a structure of high quality wood that withstood the test of time. Now we are transforming the wood of this 58 years old building into new sustainable wood products, preserving its qualities and honoring its history.
The wood we salvaged
- We cleaned over 10000 usable board ft of wood
- Of which 1300 board ft of glulam
- Removing over 1234 pounds of fasteners
- The wood was planed & sanded to remove impurities
Batch #3201 Glulam 290 Edgewood Drive
This batch of 5.3 board ft. of 4×16′ Solid wood with 30 linear ft. of estimate average good length, in 52 pieces; a total of 8320 usable board feet with an average weight of 320 pounds per unit. The Solid wood got transformed into an office partition.
